| GLOSSARY
OF TERMS Full Colour: The standard printing process using four primary ink colours (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black) allowing colours to be reproduced cost effectively. Spot Colour: Individually mixed inks usually to a colour system (called Pantone) allowing a very accurate way to specify colour and giving the punchiest results. Mostly used for stationery, as it is a more expensive process. GSM: A weight measurement used to describe paper bulk (an abbreviation for Grammes per Square Metre) it also indicates the thickness of a paper stock. Lamination: A transparent plastic film in either Matt or Gloss finishes, that seals and protects giving a luxurious sheen to printed matter.
